Psychiatry

We believe that psychotherapy is the key to success in the treatment of all types of disorders.

In the psychiatry area of our clinic we treat our patients in a friendly and empathic way, always from a holistic perspective and with a psychotherapeutic focus.

How does a psychiatrist work?

We analyse and treat each case in an individualised and personalized manner: there are a series of guidelines that define our method, based on many years of study and professional experience:

  1. The first visits: we get to know you, listen to you and understand your worries.
  2. Evaluation and diagnosis: with all the data and information collected, we determine what may be the origin of your pathology and choose the path to follow to help achieve full recovery.
  3. Psychotherapeutic treatment: this is the mainstay of our intervention, and we approach it from a cognitive-behavioural perspective.
  4. Pharmacological treatment: as a complement to psychotherapy, when necessary, we will design an individualised pharmacological treatment.
  5. Control visits: when we get the patient to improve and stabilize, we reduce the number of visits to simply controlling and supervising their full recovery.
  6. Recovery: there comes a time when medication and psychotherapy are no longer necessary; it is then that patients are definitively discharged.

Psychiatry and psychology: two complementary disciplines

In reality, a psychiatrist and a psychologist are not opposing professionals, between whom one must choose in order to solve a problem or overcome an illness. Quite the contrary, there are no situations or pathologies that, by default, have to be treated in isolation by a psychiatrist or a psychologist.

In our clinic we are committed to psychotherapy and the joint work of our professionals. We focus on obtaining the best results in the shortest possible time frame.
