Psychotherapist, Speech Therapist and Art Therapist

Mercedes Levy has extensive training in the field of Mental Health, with several Masters in Psychotherapy, Psychopedagogy, Art Therapy and Speech Therapy. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults for over 30 years. In her therapies, she applies a humanistic, systemic and cognitive-behavioural approach.

Throughout her extensive career, she has worked in France, Canada, Israel and Spain, both in universities, hospitals and schools, as well as in private practices and various associations. She was awarded Scholarships of Excellence in her degrees and masters, she has received the Israeli P. Barnovsky National Award for her thesis and has collaborated with different scientific journals and organizations.

Fundamentally, her work focuses on helping her patients learn to manage their emotions and solve affective-behavioural conflicts. She uses a holistic and integrative approach, working globally on the resulting thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She provides follow-ups and guidance until the patient fully improves and is confident to stand on their own.
